The Itel S23+ has recently made its debut in Ethiopia. This latest release from the smartphone manufacturer boasts a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED curved screen. Under the hood, it reportedly runs on a Unisoc T616 chipset and can be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and a generous 256GB of built-in storage. Notably, it also utilizes the ROM to virtually extend the RAM capacity up to 8GB. To keep you going all day, it’s equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
As for pricing and availability, Itel has not yet disclosed these details for the Itel S23+. This newly launched smartphone seems to be exclusively offered in an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. It comes with Android 13-based itelOS V13.0.0 pre-installed and marks the company’s entry into the premium curved-screen smartphone market.
When examining the specifications of the Itel S23+, we find a 6.78-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with an impressive 93 percent ultra-high screen-to-body ratio. This display is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is powered by a 12 nm Unisoc T616 SoC, accompanied by up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It also supports virtual RAM technology, allowing users to expand their RAM by an additional 8GB. Storage options include up to 256GB of onboard storage.
For photography enthusiasts, the Itel S23+ features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel sensor and LED flash. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. An in-display fingerprint sensor is included for secure authentication. All of this is powered by a robust 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W wired charging.
This handset joins the previously unveiled Itel S23 in India earlier this year. The latter is equipped with a Unisoc T606 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. It sports a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate.
