Muslims across the world mark the end of Ramadan, a dawn to dusk fasting period observed for 30 days, after the moon was sighted on Thursday, April 20. In Lamu, however, a section of Muslims say they never saw the moon to signal the end of the period. They opted to mark the end of Ramadan on Friday, the 21st of April instead.
We wish our Muslims brothers and sisters Ramadan Mubarak.
