The 2026 Premio Lo Nuestro is right around the corner.
This year, Bad Bunny, Carín León, Myke Towers, and Rauw Alejandro lead the nominations with 10 nods each. They are followed by other top nominees Beéle, Fuerza Regida and Karol G with eight noms; Xavi with seven; and with six nominations each are Alejandro Fernández, Elena Rose, J Balvin, Maluma, Morat and Shakira.
Meanwhile, a star-studded lineup is set to perform at the 38th annual awards ceremony, including Romeo Santos, Cristian Castro, Juanes, Marc Anthony, Maria Becerra and Thalia.
This year’s theme, “Honrando lo que Somos” (Honoring Who We Are), “will honor pride in where we come from and the cultural force that unites generations, genres and borders, paying tribute to our roots, our essence and the cultural identity that defines us,” according to a press release.
The 2026 nominations — based on airplay on Uforia stations and take into account airtime on Univision Radio, streaming data and evaluation by a Television Committee composed of music and entertainment industry experts — highlight 44 categories across genres, including pop, urban, tropical and Mexican music. The eligibility period for the 2026 awards spans from Sept. 30, 2024, through Oct. 1, 2025.

How to Watch
Cohosted by Thalia, Clarissa Molina and Nadia Ferreira, the awards show will air at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, Feb. 19, on Univision, UNIMÁS and Galavisión and stream on ViX across the U.S. and most Latin American countries.

Special Awards
This year, five special awards will honor “iconic figures in Latin music whose legacies continue to shape the history and evolution of the genre,” according to the press release. Arcángel will receive the Urban Icon Award; Juanes the Lifetime Achievement Award; Los Bukis will accept the Musical Legacy Award; Manolo Díaz, the Visionary Award; and the Award for Excellence will be handed to Paloma San Basilio.
